Almost every guitar I build is a custom order, but most are still one of my standard designs. Still, I do get a few requests for more than 6 strings, more than one neck, body shape modifications, and other exceptional ideas. Here are a few of the one-of-a-kind instruments I've built:

I have only two rules regarding custom designs:

  • I only build Doolin Guitars. Everything I build must have my double-cutaway, my spiral rosette, my bridge shape and my headstock shape.
  • I only build fine instruments. If I don't think it will look, sound and play great, I won't do it.
